In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, geo-location information, device unique identifier, e-mail address, password, computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications, physical billing address, payment method and transaction details), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile. We may collect information about connected third party accounts (such as the email or username for a connected PayPal, Google or Facebook account).
Un-identified and non-identifiable information relating to a visitor or un-identified user, which may be collected automatically via the use of services. Such information does not enable us to identify the visitor or user from whom it was collected. Such information collected by us mainly consists of technical and aggregated usage information, such as browsing and click-stream data, heatmaps, scrolls, device information, operating system, internet browser, screen resolution, language and keyboard settings, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, timestamps, etc.
We may also collect similar information regarding visitors and users of our user’s websites and services, for and on our users’ behalf.
We collect information which you provide us voluntarily. For example, when you register to our services; when you place orders; when you submit or upload such information as you use any of our services; and/or when you contact us directly by any communication channel (support tickets, emails, phone calls, in-person meetings).
We collect information through your use of our services. When you visit our websites or use our services, including those of our users, register a user account, edit your Boomla website and upload information to it, we will usually collect and record such uses, sessions and related information, either independently or with the help of third-party services as detailed in the section below.
We and our affiliates, partners and service providers (such as marketing, analytics, and customer support service providers) may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for analyzing usage, understanding how our users interact with our websites and services, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual, device specific and/or in an aggregated form.
Boomla is a platform for building websites. To simplify using several websites during a single session, Boomla uses cookies so that our users can sign in (and out of) the entire Boomla platform centrally.
We collect such non-personal and personal information for the following purposes:
Boomla visitors’, users’ and users-of-users’ personal information may be collected, processed and stored by us and our authorized affiliates and service providers in Europe (United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary) and in the United States of America.
Our partners, affiliates and service providers that store or process your personal information on our behalf are each contractually committed to keep it protected and secured.
We may collect, process and store non-personal and personal information of users-of-users, solely on our users’ behalf and at their direction. As an example, our users can import their e-mail contact lists from third party providers, or otherwise collect and manage contacts via their user websites. Such contacts are then stored on the Boomla platform, on the user’s behalf.
For such purposes, Boomla shall be considered a “Processor” and not the “Controller” (as both capitalized terms are defined in the European Union General Data Protection Regulation) of such users-of-users’ information. The users controlling and operating such user websites shall be considered the “Controllers” of such users-of-users’ information, and are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that may apply to the collection and control of such information, including all privacy and data protection laws of all relevant jurisdictions.
You are responsible for the security, integrity and authorized usage of your users-of-users’ personal information, for obtaining consent, permission and providing any fair notices required for the collection, processing and storage of such information.
If you are a visitor, user or customer of any of our users, please note that Boomla has no direct relationship with the individual users-of-users whose personal information is processed on our platform. If you are a visitor, user or customer of any of our users, and would like to make any requests or queries regarding your personal information, please contact such users directly. For example, if you wish to access, correct, amend, or delete your personal information collected, processed and or stored on our platform, please direct your query to the relevant user, the “Controller” of such data.
We may partner with service providers, to complement our own services. These include hosting and server co-location services, communications and content delivery networks, data and cyber security services, billing and payment processing services, domain name registrars, fraud detection and prevention services, analytics, e-mail distribution and monitoring services, marketing services, and our legal and financial advisors.
Such third party services may receive or otherwise have access to our visitors’ and users’ personal information and/or users-of-users’ personal information, in its entirety or in part – depending on their roles and purposes of their services, and may only use it for such purposes.
Our services may contain links to other websites or services. We are not responsible for such websites’ or services’ privacy practices.
Where we believe the law requires us to do so, we may disclose or otherwise allow access to your personal information, with or without notice to you.
We may use your personal information to contact you with promotional content. If you do not want to recieve such content, you may notify us any time or follow the “unsubscribe” instructions embedded in our communications.

You have the right to file a complaint with your local supervisory authority for data protection, but we recommend that you contact us first.
If you wish to receive a copy or the personal information you have stored with us, or want to amend or delete such information, please contact us via email.
We will make all reasonable efforts to act on your request promptly, subject to legal and other permissible considerations.
We may retain your and your users-of-users’ personal information for as long as your user account is active, as indicated in this privacy policy or otherwise needed to provide our services.
We may continue to retain such personal information even after you deactivate your user account and/or cease to use our services, as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes regards our users and their users, to prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our agreements and/or protect our interests.
Where your personal information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted.
Please note that our main website boomla.com uses HTTPS encryption for transmission over the Internet, but our user websites are not yet encrypted.
Until we harden our security measures, do not upload any sensitive information onto user websites hosted on the Boomla platform, including your own websites, even if they are marked to be private. We will keep improving our system so that you will be able to user Boomla for a wider variety of purposes.
